Every family had the one strand that wouldn't light. Somebody spent twenty minutes twisting big, warm bulbs one at a time until the whole tree finally came alive, and the living room smelled like pine and the cardboard box the ornaments lived in all year.
This is that tree in chunky pixel art, like it loaded off a game cartridge: old-school bulbs in red, orange, yellow, green and blue, silver garland looped around the branches, and a gold star on top, over HOLIDAY MODE in red-and-green title-screen lettering. Kiss-cut on glossy white vinyl and sized for a laptop lid, a water bottle, or the top of a gift box.
I made it to ride along on whatever you carry through the season. Stick it on and stay in holiday mode until the new year.
